Your support will help to make sport, at both the elite and grassroot level more accessible by reducing the cost of participation and also help increase the opportunity for those who have suffered with poor health to recover through sport. TeamPolice is endorsed by the Police Sport UK which represents all the Police Forces of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland and provides sporting opportunities for over 300,000 serving and retired police staff. We work closely with Oscar Kilo, the national wellbeing service for the Police service.

Working With You
Our approach is to fully understand the business objectives of each sponsor and the outcomes you seek.
Based on your level of investment, we then develop a bespoke package that will meet those objectives, with results that can be measured in terms of:
- Increased brand exposure through logo placement and generic promotion
- Numerous industry stakeholder network and engagement opportunities
- Advertising in PSUK/TeamPolice event programmes and sports association media
- Invitations to attend exclusive sporting events
- Increased corporate social responsibility and value through brand association and event media coverage

- Staff development and networking through engagement with police personal, industry stakeholders and key decision makers
- A tailored account management service provided by experienced former officers.
Police sports range from high media interest, National & European level disciplines to minority interest activities, with proportionate requirements for funding. Some sports already have long-term sponsorship deals, while others have existed on very little financial support. We provide a sensitive balance that accommodates commercial objectives while supporting all sports.
In practice, each membership portfolio will have bespoke elements based on sponsor preference and available capacity. It will describe the alignment with your selected sports and list the opportunities for brand placement/promotion and advertising as well providing details of invitations to sporting events.
Opportunities
As a member of TeamPolice, you will be supporting sports played across the Police Service in the United Kingdom. The TeamPolice brand can be used by sponsors in their marketing communications helping to promote your association and achieve significant awareness in your marketplace. It is also possible to negotiate TeamPolice endorsements for particular products. TeamPolice also offer a number of additional benefits depending on your profile andlevel of investment. These include attendance at fixtures and events where you have no direct relationship with the sports.
High-level sports fixtures are an excellent way to meet sports officials and our industry partners. Showcase events are regular sporting fixtures arranged through the sports associations and our own unique events such as the NPCC Annual Sports & Wellbeing Awards and the TeamPolice Annual Golf Day. We combine these with other multi-organisation fundraisers that Team Ethos runs such as the annual Army v Navy rugby match at Twickenham.
Charity fundraising events are also held to celebrate landmark moments and offer sponsors the opportunity to both promote their brand and demonstrate their benevolence towards police sport.

Our Scheme
As a member of TeamPolice, companies have the choice to sponsor sport, make a corporate donation and/or attend one of the many sports events. Sport and physical activity is critical to the wellbeing and health of all those who serve in our Police Service, yet taking part in sport is often expensive and in some cases, beyond the means of some people and their sport clubs/sections. Our sporting Police Family are supported by organisations and businesses who share the same passion and positive values and who are proud to say they are part of TeamPolice.
In addition to our growing group of sponsors, we would love to encourage support from a wider range of companies and organisations. All funds raised through the TeamPolice are transferred to Police Sport UK. PSUK is governed by a dedicated board of trustees which includes several senior officers and industry representatives. Your investment becomes part of a fund which is used by the Trustees to make grants to a range of sports both major and minor, to cover their annual needs.
What Levels?
Sponsors have a choice of gold, silver or bronze packages which offer a commensurate range of benefits. Once the level has been agreed, we then create a bespoke portfolio outlined in your statement of account, listing events, benefits, marketing and brand placement opportunities to enjoy with your chosen sports and events.
You can also choose to sponsor an individual TeamPolice event; as a headline sponsor you will have a direct association with a sport, supporting the officials and teams with opportunities for brand placement on clothing and equipment, advertising and employee engagement. The opportunity for headline sponsorships are limited.
As a secondary sponsor you will have a direct association with a sport, and be offered a range of benefits however your brand profile will be less pronounced than the headline sponsor.

Compliance and Assurance
The scheme is endorsed and regularly scrutinised by PSUK (the governing organisation for Police Sport in the UK) to ensure continued policy compliance. We provide all the necessary safeguards to ensure that both sports and sponsors comply with the increasingly regulated landscape including the 2010 UK Bribery and Corruption Act, legal incorporation, charitable status and sports officials’ personal liability.
Countering Bribery and Corruption Policy
TeamPolice Ltd (registered in England number 12518812) . It acts as the trading vehicle for the PSUK/Ethos joint venture and conducts all fundraising activities. All profits from the TeamPolice (minus overheads and a license to Ethos) are donated periodically to PSUK. TeamPolice runs to an open book policy and publishes its trading account and operating expenses online. Our Countering Bribery and Corruption Policy is available to download here.
